Need hot water in a room that’s remote from the rest of the house? In an area not currently served by hot water piping? An area that needs hot water only on rare occasions? The solution is a small, electric instantaneous water heater. It will fit under a sink and requires only nominal adjustments to the existing plumbing (plus electrical wiring). You get piping hot water within seconds of turning on the tap.
If the main water heater for the house is electrical, then the cost of heating water via the instantaneous unit won’t be much more.
